Perhaps the fact that I posted once should clue me in that this blog thing isn't MY thing. That one post happened 7 months ago... that should be another clue. But alas, here I am again for some reason. I'm not sure what I'm looking to accomplish, but I do like to write... and I do like to talk about myself (arrogant much?). So, here I am. Hoping someone will read along. Anyone out there??
So this is my life lately... I'm sick. Both in the literal and figurative sense of the word. A nasty cold has taken control of me and I have not been a happy camper. Just to make life lots more fun, my sweet (?) 2 year old has a double ear infection. She has NOT been a joy to be around lately. AND, to be sure I have absolutely no chance of speedy recovery, my two online stores have finally started seeing more traffic...I have had non stop orders coming in this month. No downtime for this sick-o. Gotta keep on keeping on... but I sure would like a nap. A nap and a clean house. Let's face it, neither one of those things is happening anytime soon! I'm sick of being sick... I really don't think it's fair that moms can get sick. With all that still needs to be done and all of the other noses that still need to be wiped, we should be completely immune somehow. The Immunity Fairy should just show up the moment you become a mom and sprinkle her magic dust over your head. I was apparently skipped by that fairy... in fact, I think the only fairy that sprinkled any dust over my head was the Gray Hair Fairy. Could've done without that dusting, thankyouverymuch.
So with that, I leave you. The family is hungry and this sick mama has to drag her ever expanding butt off of the sofa to go feed them. Maybe I'll write again before another 7 months goes by!
